Adding measures before or after a bar with added rhythmic values consists crashes musescore

I'm trying to add some additional verses in between where I've written, and every time that I attempt to add bars "Inserting before or after" a selected bar that has been modified in the measure properties section to have a different actual value than the time signature (done in this case by using the insert beat function).

I have a temporary solution that fixes my problems and isn't that annoying in this case:
Adding the measures a bar before in a bar without modified duration, where it doesn't crash, and then cut that bar later, but I could see this being a real problem if you have a lot of measures with added note values. Definitely a bug, I wouldn't call the crashing a feature.
