Sound Playback is very high pitched and fast.

When I attempt to play back scores all notes are very high pitched and very fast.
I have read and followed suggestions from other forum posts with no success.

I have the correct playback device selected in both Windows and Musescore
My Sample rates match.
I have the latest musescore version
The playback issues occur regardless of my playback device.

I would welcome any other suggestions to resolve this issue. Please note none of these issues occurred with previous versions of Musescore, which I have been using since version 2.
