Cannot add TAB to a score.
Hello,
I have imported an XML file into Musescore. I have edited the part, and now I would like to add guitar TAB below the part. There is some setting that is not allowing me to add the TAB. When I go to the Layout panel and try to add simple TAB, it simply won't do it. I was able to add TAB to all my other parts in this way. For some reason, this particular part won't let me. I have tried creating a copy, uploading a new version of the XML file, and searching the version 4 Handbook. Any ideas? Thanks.

(NB: since version 4.5, the Instruments panel no longer exists. It'is called now Layout panel)

Hi. Thanks for the response. I have already tried all of these things. It will add staves on the Layout panel, but they cannot be seen in the score I'm working on. It still looks like just one part. I've tried the visible and not visible settings (the open and closed eyes). Got any other ideas?

Can you verify first in your score, at menu Format/ Style / Score / "Hide empty staves within systems"
This option is enabled/ticked, or not?
It doesn't have to be at the moment.
If the problem is not fixed, please attach your score to check what might be happen.
