The part of the Handbook you will be most interested in to resolve this issue is https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/working-instruments. Nonetheless, I recommend (just like @underquark did!) that every new (or "new-ish" :-) user take an hour or two and simply read the entireMuseScore 4 Handbook. Don't try to memorize it! Just skim through it and familiarize yourself with the contents! But read it all!!! Then you'll have an idea where to find things when issues come up in the future. "Didn't I see something about that in the Handbook?"
You should be able to just go into the layout panel towards the top left of the screen, open the piano with the downward arrow, select the bass clef and press backspace to delete it. Hope that helps!

Read the Handbook, get to know the program and post again if you are still having problems that aren't explained there.
