Adding Performance Notes before the score
Hello,
I would like to add performance notes with extended techniques notation descriptions on a page which precedes the actual score. I am using a MacBook.
Is it possible to do that using Musescore or do I need to do something like take screenshots of each page of my score and put my page of text plus the screenshots of each page of my score into a Pages document. I don't have the Adobe PDF editor btw.
Thanks in advance for any help.

MuseScore is definitely not a word processor, but you can do a little.
Add a "vertical frame" to the first note/rest. Right-click on the frame and click to Add / Text. One particular thing you have to do with your text: MuseScore does not know how to automatically word wrap. You must select the point(s) in the middle of each paragraph where a carriage return goes. And if you change the width, you have to fix it. Other than that, you can do almost anything with the text. Including adding images if text can't show what you need.
To put the frame and text (and title info) on a page before the music begins, select the frame and add a Page Break to it from the Layout panel (or palette, depending on which version of MuseScore you are using).
Here's an example score I made several weeks ago. I have not added the Page Break to the frame, so it's still on the same page as the music.

Great thank you so much! I just updated one of my scores - it was a little unwieldy but seemed to work.
