Dotted crotchet to crotchet tempo changer isn't working, other do work, just not that one. Have to work around it by hiding a tempo marking

On the face of it, MuseScore seems to be calculating the numbers correctly.
By default it correctly calculates the new crotchet value as slower so that its tempo (40bpm) matches the duration of the initial tempo (dotted crotchet = 40) - which is actually 60bpm.

Initial tempo:

Changed tempo:

But I do agree that tempo changes are a bit unpredictable:
a) the applied default value for a tempo change does not always "take" immediately;
b) disabling "Follow written tempo" and then using the Reset icon leads to very surprising results.
