Cannot find tempo slider
I am using Musescore on a mac air and I have subscribed but I cannot find the tempo slider. I checked the handbook and it said to click on the metronome and the slider will show. But alas it doesn't show for me.I would be grateful for any advice please.

Also important to remember that the tempo slider is strictly a temporary setting. Use it to find the "right tempo" for a section of your music and apply an actual tempo marking (a textual one, like the Italian words, or a metronome marking) to the score to set the tempo permanently.
