sticky tuplet input mode
In a frequent case of continuously running triplets, the present implementation of tuplet input mode in MuseScore is quite disruptive, because after each tuplet you have to specify the total duration (e.g. pressing 5 for a quarter) and the subdivision (Ctrl+3) again. Though there is a workaround by entering a required number of quarter rests, leaving the note input mode, selecting all these rests and pressing Ctrl+3, it would be great if MuseScore would offer an additional "sticky" tuplet input mode:
Past the last note or rest in a tuplet, subdivide the next beat automatically, unless Ctrl+3 (in case of triplets) is pressed again.
MuseScore revision 2722 on Ubuntu 9.10.

Since the duration selected is actually a tuplet. To change from triplets to eighth notes should require a click on the note value bar, since it is a change in durration.
I like it.
may i ask if there is any way to toggle triplets presently? Eg. Highlight all the notes -> Ctrl-3 to become triplets, Ctrl-3 to removed triplets?
In reply to may i ask if there is any way by joshuakoo
No way that I know of. What you describe wouldn't really work though, because a triplet can be any one of several things depending on what is divided by three: a quarter note? half note? an entire bar of 5/4? That is without even mentioning the combinations of dotted notes and uneven divisions that MuseScore is currently capable of handling. It would be a shame if this capability were wrecked in an attempt to streamline tuplet entry.
