Copyright Symbol
It would be nice to include the copyright (circle C) symbol in the symbol selection.
Also, still wondering about entering slashes in jazz leadsheets, and being able to switch from grand staff to single staves within the same composition. (Posted about three weeks ago).
Thanks,

The copyright symbol is already available using the text palette (F2). See Text editing for details.
Slash notation and hiding staves are not yet implemented.

Or, you could use a simple ASCII code. As you are typing, you hold down your ALT key and then on your numeric keypad enter 0169, then release the ALT key. That should give you a © symbol.

Slash notation is implemented in revision 1251:
In r1274, I've made it so that when you enter "(C)" into a text element and hit Space, Return, or Tab, it is converted into the copyright symbol.

Just a thought, I didn't try it yet. But I hope that (C) can be also rendered as it ! For example to handle an optional C Major chord name.

Hi, I just updated it in r1288 to make it an option in preferences and also to only replace in Copyright Text, since that is the most likely place for a copyright symbol anyway.
Alt+0169 will do the job.Cheers

Thanks for adding this information. It is an old thread, but someone else may stumble upon it and need this info.
