How to install musescore beta 2 without compiling? Mint 17.1 KDE 64 bit
Hello!
I would like to check musescore 2.0 beta 2 to be able to provide bug reports "before it is too late". I am new to musescore and also not very familar with Linux.
I use Linux Mint 17.1 64 bit.
Is there any .deb file that I can install? And from some web research I understood that I need to update some QT 5 packes, is that right?
I would be very glad, if somebody could give me some simple-to-follow step-by-step instructions so that I can get musescore 2.0 beta 2 running and soon the RC.
Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Thank you for the quick reply! The first link is for 64bit systems, but the QT dependencies are listed only for 64 bit.
So I need to understand and find the proper QT 5 packages, because otherwise the dependencies are not fulfilled.
