Staccato and "unStaccato"

• Mar 16, 2015 - 22:24

Hi everybody

I use Muse Score Nightly Builds on a daily basis and I must say everything work fine and flawlessly on my MacBook Pro. (OSX) Great Job. Thanks Guyz.

Anyway, I have a suggest about staccato mode. As we know if we select many notes and double click on staccato in Left side Palette, a result would be that all notes get dots and play staccato articulation. But If we need to unstaccato (remove dots) we must to select every dot above notes one by one and click delete. This is very annoying job. I suggest same way. If we could select all notes that are in staccato articulation and double click on staccato button in Palette, those notes became legato.

I hope that you get the point of the suggest. Except there's already hidden solution that I don't know about.

Thanks

Maro

There *are* solutions better than selecting one by one, for sure:

1) select region, use keybaord shortcut Shift+S to toggle staccato on or off (currently doens't work if your selection consists of chords with an even number of notes, as the toggle cancels itself out :-)

or

2) select region, right click one staccato marking, Select / All similar elements in range selection, hit Delete
