Caesura swallowed up in multi measure rest
I'm trying to add a caesura but when looking at individual parts it doesn't appear. It seems that because the part had measures of rest before that the multi measure rest shows and the caesura is hidden. Can I override this somehow?

Yes, if you want a measure to not be considered empty even though it has no notes, right click it, Measure Properties, Break multimeasure rest (you probably have to do that in the parts; might be best to do it in the score then generate the parts anew). Or add a double bar or other marking that automatically breaks multimeasure resets.
