Revert to factory settings
Why there are no instructions for Linux in the handbook page ‘Revert to factory settings’.
I think you should only delete the config file in /home/username/.config/MusE directory.

There are no instructions for Linux because no Linux users actively participate in the English documentation.
Reverting to Factory Settings would look very similar to the instructions for Mac. Basically you open a terminal session
cdto the location of the mscore executable and typemscore -F
