IE11 and back-button page refresh

I had an issue with one computer where IE got malware and I had to "reset" IE to clean it out. Now on this computer when I read the MuseScore forums, go into a topic and back-button out, I still see the "x new" under the replies column until I do an F5 refresh.

I recall at one point seeing a fix here for the back-button page refresh, but can't find it anymore. I use different computers throughout the day: home desktop (Win8.1u1 IE11), home laptop (Win10 IE11) and work desktop (Win8.1u1 IE11). Both the home desktop and work desktop had the "fix", but the Win10 laptop never had. Now after the IE reset, the home desktop shows the "x new" just like Win10, but work never does. Any ideas?
