My Musescore version 2.0 just stopped.
Recently I had a problem with my Palette missing. I eventually got that fixed. I then saw there was a new version, Version 2. I completely uninstalled the old version and downloaded Version 2. I had not used Version 2. I simply clicked on the shortcut Icon and it came up with the palette already displayed on the left side. The next time I clicked on the Shortcut a message came up from Windows 8.1. '' Musescore.exe has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. No advice was received. I am a financial member of Windows Tech support and contacted them. The guy from the Windows tried to locate the problem but failed. I and he uninstalled the program and reinstalled it time and time again but no go. Can someone assist me in this problem.

Check the permissions of the antivirus.

You do not need to uninstall 1.3 and you can try to install a Nightly version

All three (1.3/2.0/Nightly) can coexist.
