Can you post the specific score you are having problems with and give precise step by step instructions to reproduce the issue, including a description of how you have configured JACK to connect these components?
BTW, if you are tryng to use the temporary tempo override control in the Play Panel as a means of setting the tempo for a piece, you should instead be using Tempo text elements, from the Tempo palette or added via Alt+T.

Thanks Marc
Steps:
Start MS 2.0.0
load Reunion.mscz OR reunion_tempochange.mscz (attached): Everything OK
Start Ardour 3.5.403
BUG occurs: cannot change speed anymore, using either in Playpanel or using Text-Elements
Terminate Ardour 3: Everything is back to normal.
Jack is configured to connect Musescore-Output to an Ardour-Track.
Disconnecting all jack connection: the BUG persists

Do you have Ardour configured as the timing master for JACK?
If so try selecting JACK as the timing master and then put Ardour into Slave Sync mode by clicking the button marked "Internal" to the right of the transport controls.

Sounds like Michael (ChurchOrganist) is the one whose hint helped, but anyhow, glad it's solved!
