Deleting Measures

I'm currently in the process of completing a Concert band piece and i want to delete the extra measures at the end. Unfortunately, every time I press "Delete Selected Measures" or "Ctrl+Del" (Shortcut), the program force closes. I realized that I had 2 end bar lines in the song. One landed at the end of the music, while another landed at the end of the extra measures. I assumed that the program couldn't understand what I was trying to do, so I removed the bar line at the very end of the score and tried to remove to the measures then, but the program still force closed. I reopened the program and added the bar line back, then removed the first bar line (after the end of the music), then tried to remove the measures, but it force closed again. I then reopened the program and removed both bar lines, and tried to remove the measures again, and we already know what happened. I don't know what to do anymore.
