Selection Still Exists AFTER Interval Change

Hello! So, I know this might be a bit "silly", but I remember way back in MuseScore 1.3 when you could move the notes up/down an octave and/or change the pitch with the arrow keys while still maintaining your selection. but in 2.0.2 I find that after I select notes, I can move the notes wherever, but the box selection dissapears after the first change. Then all notes turn blue and you can't copy, cut and a few other things that I was able to do before.
So to sum it up, I want to still select notes and have the blue box around them, but after changing the interval I want to be able to copy/cut the notes. Thank you so much!
