Fingering text
In the help files the text dialog box shows the traditional circled numers to indicate strings (for guitar). In the actual program the circled string numers do not appear. Running version 0.9.6.3
Any advice?

Are you looking at the Fingering palette in MuseScore? What operating system are you using? Have you used older versions of MuseScore or is 0.9.6.3 the first version you have used?

Hi - Yes, I'm looking at the Fingering palette. The circled (string) numbers
are not there. I see 0 through 9 and p, i, m, a and c. I'm using Windows XP.
This is my second upgrade with Musescore. (Sorry about the double post.)

Close MuseScore
delete
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\MusE\mscore-palette.xml
Start MuseScore again

What lasconic means was delete
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\MusE\
Deleting the "USERNAME" folder is not a good idea.
EDIT: looks like the previous comment has been corrected.
For more details see Revert to factory settings in the handbook.

I tried reverting to factory settings - no go. Tried to find and delete the file mscore-palette.xml - the file does not exist.
What now?

I fixed the window that appears via Create > Text > Fingering so that it matches the Fingering palette (revision 3572 trunk). This will appear in the Nightly build for tomorrow.
