Having a Split Staff in parts of the piece

I am transcribing a score where the cello part is in one staff for the majority of the piece, and then goes into 2 staves for other parts. The excerpt is shown in the image here. How can this be replicated in MuseScore?

Using two parts on one staff is not an option because the parts are too similar (arco and pizz on the same pitch).
