Can't change page orientation
I created a template for 19-piece jazz band (5 saxes, 5 trumpets, 5 trombones, piano, bass, guitar, drums). I didn't change the page layout before saving the template. When I went back into the page to try to change the orientation to landscape, nothing changed. Ultimately, the program crashed. Any ideas why (1) the program wouldn't apply a change in orientation and (2) it crashed during the attempt?

Can you provide the score for investigation? Which version of MuseScore are you using?
I just saw this response. I won't bore you with the upheaval in the household in the interim; however, I'm surprised I wasn't notified by e-mail of your response. Here's the template that blew up on me when I tried to change the page orientation from portrait to landscape.

Forgot: 0.9.6.3 under WinXP.

So much to try to fit into a small space, but I was able to get it into landscape and all the staves on the page, although I had to go into the General Settings and change the distance between the staves. Here is the version I modified, with no crashes or problems, and I'm also using 0.9.6.3 on Windows XP.

Where is the version you modified? I don't see any attachment.

I was trying to attach the file that I modified and post the comment, but I was having internet problems last night. Apparently the comment posted, but the file didn't attach (I didn't even know the comment posted). I will try when I get home tonight to repost the file that I edited. Sorry for the confusion.
