Temple blocks and instruments.xml

Temple blocks are a series of usually five blocks that produce indefinite pitches ranging from low to high.

Option 1 (current default): The instrument is marked as drumset in instruments.xml but this means it has a choice of only two wood block sounds: High and Low (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_MIDI#Percussion ). Unfortunately the limit of two sounds does not meet the needs of most temple blocks.

Option 2 (currently possible): If I don't mark the instrument as drumset I have access to a full range of woodblock sounds (see program 116 in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_MIDI#Percussive ). Unfortunately a normal staff allows notes in the spaces and on ledger lines (instead of limiting to the five staff lines). A normal staff also allows flats and sharps (which do not make sense for temple blocks). And the pitch variation between the five staff lines is very small.

Ideal Option (currently not possible?): Notes would only be allowed on the five staff lines (not above or below the staff, or in the spaces). Sharps and flats would not be allowed (arrowing up or down would jump to the next staff line). During playback there would be more pitch variation between the five staff lines.

Is my "ideal" possible using instruments.xml in current versions of MuseScore? Attached is a short score created using option 2.
