Cannot load the entire movement as it is about 8Mb but here is the development section and the cadenza

If you save as .mscz ("Compressed MuseScore format") the file size is considerably smaller. For example, the excerpt you attached only takes 15 KB as .mscz file instead of 549 KB as .mscx file.
For more details see [[nodetitle:Export]] in the handbook.

I did that previously but finer details like staccatos, slurs and some text became missing. I lost half of a piano sonata as a result of saving as a *.mscz file before and don't approve of it.

MSCZ is exactly the same than mscx but compress with zip format. There should not be any degradation of the musical information if you save as mscz. If elements disappear again, try to reproduce and explain it on the forum, it's not normal and reporting it will help improve MuseScore.

I don't want to put the entire concerto online as the copyright holders might have a cow. I'll put the sonata on the bug report side just so that you can see that half of it has vanished along with all the dynamics, text and articulation.
