Switch from pizzicato to normal doesn't work using the Italian version
Strange problem reported by an Italian user (see also the original post
).
Steps to reproduce bug:
- using the Italian version I created a new score from scratch
- I added "violins 1" as instrument (I used the original "instruments.xml" file)
- I added some notes
- in the 2nf and 5th measure I added the staff text "pizzicato" and "normal" and I changed the text properties as described in the user manual
Expected behavior: switch from normal to pizzicato and from pizzicato to normal
Actual behavior: switch from normal to pizzicato works fine but switch from pizzicato to normal doesn't work (see the attached file Pizzicato-it.mscz).
If I change the MuseScore language from "Italiano" to "English US" there are no problems (see the attached file Pizzicato-en.mscz).
Similar problem with the “mute” trumpet.
I reproduced this problem using MuseScore 0.9.3, soudfont FluidR3_GM.sf2, OS Ubuntu 10.010 Maverick Meerkat and Windows xp SP3.
Thanks for your attention.
Antonio

The problem is the string "normal" is translated in italian and stored in the file as "normale". It shouldn't happen. I thought I removed all these translations but apparently I missed one. It's fixed for next versions.

Sure. I just changed the relevant string and the qm file has been rerendered. You can download it here http://translate.musescore.org/translate/languages/it/download
