measure layout
Hi,
First, I just want to thank whomever for this program. I've used Finale for years and I never got comfortable with it. I started using MuseScore yesterday and I already feel at home with it. Great job.
So, what I am trying to do is put a line break at the end of a measure but not have the measure fill up the rest of the system (or line, whatever). As it is, I've got one measure filling up the entire line which I don't want. I've played around with breaks, frames, stretch, and plug-in break x-measure but I am still not getting what I am after.
So, in summarizing, is there any way of making a line break without having the previous measures stretch out to fill the whole line?
Thanks

Can you attach the file with reference to the measure number? I have hard time to understand what you mean.

Forgot the measure. I want measure 57 to stay where it is but I want 58 onwards to start on the next line. I don't want 57 to fill the whole line once I've done this.
Thanks

You were on the right track. The key is to drag the system break to the horizontal frame (instead of the measure before the horizontal frame). That way you can use the horizontal frame to put space between measure 57 and the right margin.
