Problem with Mac Midi

I'm having trouble inputting notes with the Mac version 9.6.3 with midi. My Mac can read the input in garageband so I'm sure the actual input is coming in, but I can't manage to get it to work with MuseScore.

I plug in the keyboard, turn on the keyboard, and then open MuseScore like the instructions say. It works with neither the 'to host' port or midi.

The reason this is really odd is because I had this working the other day with both the midi and to port methods of connecting the keyboard and I haven't changed anything on the computer that I know of. It's the same version of MuseScore and everything.

Is there something I could be doing terribly wrong?
