plugin to transpose music

I am a complete beginner with Musescore and plugin development. I am interested in developing a simple plugin that will automatically transpose the current piece to all 12 keys, one at a time, and export each one to a SVG file. Really the plugin is more like a macro almost... but I am not really sure how to begin.
