How can I add E-flat Cornet to Instruments?
It's me again! I'm sorry, I'm not a musician, so can you please explain in layman terms how I can add this instrument to my score? MuseScore shows only B-flat cornet (which is OK since the original score has this instrument too) and when I add it, it automatically assigns a bemol on third line from below to the key signature... But the original score shows NO key signature for neither B-flat nor E-flat cornets.

Hi Victor.
First of all the instrument you probably want is not cornet but Horn.
Very often particularly in European scores Horns are referred to as Corno with the abbreviateion Cor. Until the very late 19th century Horns had no valves and changed key by means of fitting pieces of varying length brass tubing known as crooks into the instrument. The convention was for these instruments to be written without key signature as they could only play in the key they were set in. The composer would write the notes compensating for the actual key in his head so that the horns sounded correct.
Secondly - if this does turn out to be cornet then make sure you have clicked the "All Instruments" drop down at the top of the Instrument list. You will then find both E flat and B flat Cornets under Brass.
