Reset chord name positions.
Is there a way to reset chord names which were moved previously some time ago so that all chord names are a similar position.
In the past I moved numerous to avoid conflicts, but I am redoing the chart and would like to start from scratch.

Right-click one, Select > All Similar Elements, [Cmd]+[R] or [Ctrl]+[R].

And then all the chord symbols should go to their default positions.

It's not working. They are remaining unmoved. I have tried left clicking on one before selecting all and just selecting all when hovering over a chord name.

Could you attach the score here?

It worked just fine for me. Is it selecting all chord symbols, or the reset command that's failing? If the latter, perhaps it's a keyboard shortcut problem—does the menu item "Reset" under the Layout menu work?

You never mentioned a "reset" facility and I can't find one. ??

Sorry, I could be doing better. The keyboard shortcut [Ctrl]+[R] (Mac: [Cmd]+[R]) is used to reset selected objects to their default position. The exact same function can be accessed under the Layout menu (at the top of the screen).
So, what I was wondering is, is that the part that's failing; or is the issue to do with selecting all the chord symbols? Basically, after you right-click on one chord symbol and do Select > All Similar Elements, do all the chord symbols in the score highlight in blue?

Control R. The reset function. You never mentioned that until quite a way into the conversation. I guess you thought everyone knew that! Thanks. :)

Well, I kind of thought you might—you've been around the block a few times—but actually, that is literally the very first thing I said: https://musescore.org/en/node/95671#comment-423511
To quote it again, "Right-click one, Select > All Similar Elements, [Cmd]+[R] or [Ctrl]+[R]."
Whatever. Glad you got it!
