Please give steps so that others can reproduce the crash.
When I copy and paste a measure I don't get a crash. (Tested using r. 4078 nightly build, Windows 7)

This is a piece I wrote for piano and I'm making an arrangement for big band...
I send you the score as it.
I'm running revision 4078, Qt 4.6.2 (64 bit), Ubuntu 9.04

It's very adventurous to use the nightly for a serious piece of work... There is no guarantee that your next build will open the file you just created....

conserving previous nightly build (and they always available), and making hand back-up, you are in position to regress to a previous state, and minimize the loss....

I keep a copy from musescore 1.0 and my manuscript !
I just do it because it may be useful for debuggers as you are dear Lasconic ;)
