Hi here !

kubuntu 14.04 musescore 2.0.2 3543170

So, easy to reproduce :

1- create a score with drums staff
2- edit the drumset (for example, put the kick on voice1 and force the snare stem to be display down.
3- Save your drumset
4- look the place you have saved your file, drumset extension (*.drm) is missing

As a consequence, when trying to load drumset from another score, musescore doesn't show file in the browser because it can't see it.

The actual workaround I use is adding .drm to my drummap file.

EDIT : Once you have add .drm, you can save over this file without musescore removing the extension, so the issue only appears the first time you create a drummap

I'm confused. Are you saying you included ".drm" in the filename but MuseScore stripped it off? I don't see that happening on my Ubuntu system - if I type a name with the ".drm" extension, that is exactly how it is saqved. Or maybe you mean, you entered a name with no extension, but MsueScore didn't automatically add it for you? Do you find MuseScore - or other programs - sautomatically adding extensions for you? I don't see that. I guess some dialogs do prepopulate the filename field with the extension, and this one could probably stand to do the same. Is that what you mean?

Yes Marc, that's exactly what i'm saying. When I save a score, I never have to add .mscz to my score, musescore makes it automatically. So I suggest the same behaviour for drum maps.
