GSoC 2017 - Startup Wizard - Weekly Report 8 - Jul 23rd

After merging the shortcut management system last week, my focus this week shifted to working on the startup wizard. The shortcut management system is now up and running and as the MuseScore community contributes shortcut lists, I will start adding them. In the last few days, I finished creating two more pages for the startup wizard and started working on a few more.

Key Accomplishments Last Week:
1. Finished implementing a page to select MuseScore’s language in the startup wizard. The user is given an option to choose from all possible languages.
2. Modified the startup wizard page that asks the user for keyboard layout. The page now makes a recommendation based on the language chosen by the user.
3. Completed a page of the startup wizard that enables a user to choose between two workspaces: basic and advances.
4. Completed the welcome page of the startup wizard. This is a page which introduces the user to MuseScore and explains what the startup wizard does.

Key Tasks That Stalled:
There weren’t any key tasks that stalled this week.

Tasks in the Upcoming Week:
1. Working on a startup wizard page that enables the user to customize toolbars.
2. Working on a conclusion page for the startup wizard that could link the user to tutorials, help, etc and potentially load a “getting started” score.
