Wacom Tablet Pen Not Clicking Like a Mouse in the Palette

I have always used a Wacom tablet pen as a mouse to write scores in Musescore 3.6. I'm not sure, but I think this also worked before in Musescore 4.

However, now with MU 4.4 installed, the pen only works as a mouse for selecting and moving elements within the score itself. It does not work for clicking on menus, the palette, or properties. These areas simply do not recognize the pen tip as a selection click, and nothing happens.

This disrupts my workflow, as I have to switch unnecessarily between the pen and the touchpad.

The pen still works fine in MU 3 and various other applications.
