Tuplet text style applies only after save and reload

  • Create a score with a tuplet
  • Go to Style > Text > Tuplet
  • Change the size or italic of the style
  • Ok

    • Expected result: all tuplets in the score are affected
    Actual result: nothing

    • Save and reload.
    • The style is applied

Very former issue. Month after month, until a year back (May 2014), I see exactly the same behavior: the new style is applied only after save and reload.

It is possible (I had the same idea, I wanted to start looking, but I do not have time today).

I didn't but the fix was pretty localized, and only for tuplets. The root cause is that the tuplet number is a text element inside another element, a bit like text for text lines, and not a text element by itself.
