Remove tuplet without removing note
Referring to attached file, where the text is "remove", I want to remove the quadruplet without removing the note. When I selected the quadruplet and delete it, the note is deleted too. This is undesirable.
How can I delete just the ]4[?

You can't as in most cases the content of the tuplet won't match the duration of it.
In your case you can first select the note, cut it, then delete the tuplet and past the note back in.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't think to first cut the note, so that makes it easier.
