Pieces in the Public domain not displaying as such
I am making an arrangement of Holst's "The Cloud Messenger" and when I went to update it and I filled in which piece it was based off of, it said that it was an arrangement of a piece not in the public domain, which is false as it was published in 1913 and Holst died in 1934, which is way more than 70 years ago.

That is a musescore.com problem I've noticed a lot. You should report it at https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com.
What you can do, below the download button is a title for the work your piece is based upon. This title is a link. Click that link and a new screen will appear. Click the edit button and a new window will appear. It's tough to see if yes or no is selected for Is this public domain. Click yes and the Send Button will become active at the bottom of the window. I usually add a comment like, This is PD then press send. Someone at musescore.com fixes this usually within a few hours but always within a couple of days.

I went to report it and it seems they fixed it before I could report it there as well. Thanks anyways for the advice.
