Zerberus problem

• Aug 21, 2020 - 19:36

Hello.
I successfully use in my scores Zerberus .sfz library of wav samples. Now I’ve got a problem because I need to add in score additional staff with same tones (notes). Now the first staff sounds well with my wav samples, but second one sounds with default sounds. Is there a way to solve this problem of duplivate notes and how?
As example you can listen original score here - https://youtu.be/U9flpuLxfMU
Now I need to add there additional staff.

Here is description of three notes in question:
<region>
sample=samples\s1.wav
lokey=38 hikey=38
pitch_keycenter=38
volume=11
offset=0
end=959519

<region>
sample=samples\s2.wav
lokey=41 hikey=41
pitch_keycenter=41
volume=11
offset=0
end=959519

<region>
sample=samples\s3.wav
lokey=45 hikey=45
pitch_keycenter=45
volume=11
offset=0
end=959519

It's hard to tell, but it sounds like you are asking a question about how to create your own soudnfont? This isn't a great place to get help with such things, most of us are users of, not creators of, soundfonts. Probably better to find an audio / synthesis / MIDI forum somewhere to ask. Or, if I'm misunderstanding and your question actually is about MuseScore and not about soundfont design, maybe try reasking it without reference to internal soundfont details?

Sounds to me like you might need to open the mixer and and assign one of your sounds to the new staff. If you don't, MuseScore uses whatever is at the top of a default font.
