I think the purposes are different.
Engraving is putting notes on the paper (electronic or real) while made Made with MuseScore is for sharing scores you've written using MuseScore.
Oktophonie started the engraving forum for issues related directly to updating the code for proper engraving practices.

I would hate to delete some of the old scores that were posted before MuseScore.com was started. Made with MuseScore doesn't hurt anything so I'd be happy to leave it alone and see the occasional score posted there and possibly see them discussed a little.

In fact I was just thinking about a new title, leaving the old posts alive.
Btw. I associate with "made with MuseScore" announcements for works like:
https://musescore.com/openscore
https://musescore.com/groups/openscore-lieder-corpus
https://musescore.com/opengoldberg/goldberg-variations

OpenScore Lieder Corpus... I really should have thought of that!

Which, meritoriously, may also belong to the topic "Engraving". I'm not arguing, just chatting.

In my understanding the subforum "Engraving" is more to discuss improvements of the capabilities and quality of notated scores with MuseScore. But I'm not sure if I'm correct here.
In best case "Made with MuseScore" means more for me, it includes also topics like:
https://www.instructables.com/id/MuseScoreArduinoLEDsMIDI-Piano-Tutor/
https://musescore.org/en/node/266386
https://inbrain.tech/brain-computer-interface-for-composing-music-with-…
But I'm aware the sense of this subforum was discussed several times before (if these are topics for the "General" forum, if this subforum is frequently used for support requests and so on).
In my personal opinion I would like to read about announcements on a extra place, what all is possible with MuseScore.
