Save preferencesw?
How can you save preferences (such as e.g synthesizer settings and other things) so that after logging out and logging in again the program comes back with the changed settings, and not with the default ones.

The MuseScore notation software has no concept of a user being logged in or out into the software with regards to those settings.
Simply use the Save/Load buttons from the Synthesizer window as you please: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/synthesizer#synth-settings

Deer jeetee,
Many thanks for your answer. However, I do not succeed in getting into the view -> synthesizer window. How should I do that?
Many thanks again!

I believe you should have a score opened and then click on View in the menu bar at the top of your screen to be able to check the Synthesizer option.

Dear jeetee, thanks again!
I think I am doing something wrong, because I do not see those features. Could it be that I do not have the proper version? I have MuseScore Pro Plus, the paid version. Should I make a different upgrade or something else?
best wishes, Eric

I think you might (understandably) be confusing two things: This site (.org) is all about the completely free Desktop Notation Software MuseScore. It does not have a subscription model and you can't pay for it, it is always completely and entirely free.
Then there is the online score sharing platform (.com) which has a dashboard and both a free and a paying account system.
The desktop notation software does not care about your subscription.
