Playback quality
Just installed MS4 and the soundset. First try at playback of a single line score and it's horrible - not working at all. Tosh satellite running windows10 through Bose speakers - sounds completely broken

Most likely, you have a sample rate issue in your audio driver. See if you can find its settings, and be sure the sample rate is 44.1 or 48 kHz instead of something higher like 96.

Thank you - it took me a while to get my head round but have now tried.
Changing the sample rate makes no difference up or down. Also I've installed the Muse sounds library and all the sounds come out the same - intermittent and distorted like a broken piano. Very disappointing: I can of course use it to write without playback but . . . .
