"Go to" feature not refreshed
1) Type "3" into the "go to" panel
2) Hit "enter"
3) Hit "play", it starts at bar 3 (so far so good)
4) Stop playing two bars later
5) Open the "go to panel", your "3" is still there, which is great
6) Hit "enter" to reach the 3rd bar
7) It is not taken into account (the playhead resumes where you stop playing at 4) )

The find command isn't meant for setting playback position - it's for positioning the score view. It also selects the measure, but if that was the measure already selected, it won't reset the playback position. This is also true of other methods of selection.
If you're trying to repeatedly start playback from a given location, consider instead the loop feature.

Thanks for your reply. I understand. The bar 3 is already selected, so the "go to" does nothing more. This makes sense.
Concerning what I want to achieve (play/stop function, like in every DAW ; not a loop), I didn't find such a thing, which a pity. Please take a look at my other topic here: https://musescore.org/en/node/342880

Even if you don't indend to loop the playback, my point is, the loop function already does what you want - it make it so the playback keeps starting at the same point. So you can already achieve that effect by enabling the loop, even if you don't care about the actual looping. Set the end loop point to somewhere past where you intend to step, then you can stop it yourself.

Thanks. The goal was to avoid this workaround. Considering MS4 to integrate more DAW-features (like an arranger, IIRC), it would be nice to add a true stop button, and a play/stop action when the time comes.
