Difficulties with slurs and ties
I have searched quite awhile for solutions, but haven't found any.
When adding slurs to chords, they are automatically single and on the note side. I want to have them double (triple at times,) like works for ties.
I also want them attached to the note heads, not at the end of the stem.
Is there an automatic way to do this?
I select the notes involved twice, then flip one slur, then manually move the slur to match the note heads. I'm not sure what's standard musically, but I'm simplifying music and want it to be as similar to the original as possible. They have slurs connected to the note heads.
When adding ties, they automatically add additional ties to the 2nd and 3rd note that shows up in my music. Am I doing something wrong? or is this just the way it is and I need to delete the extras?
I'm still using MuseScore 3.6.2.548021803

Slurs; your measure 3 steps are exactly what is necessary in 3.6. Flip the slur and move it down.
Ties: I think perhaps you are selecting both ends, which is unnecessary since a tie automatically attaches to the next note of the same pitch.
