Check that pallet editing has been enabled in the three dot menu for each palette.

There is indeed a check mark next enable editing. And I have a new battery in my mouse :)
It can be a bit tricky to find the right spot(s) within the palette to release, but keep moving the mouse around, and you should find it.

I've never used this function in MU4 before. I know finding the right spot can be tricky. I had to cycle the check mark for enable editing off then back on twice before it started to work. Again, the check mark was already there.

However, the next time I opened MU4, It didn't work again. This time nothing could make it work. I reverted to Factory Specs and that seems to have taken care of the problem. I don't think I had made hardly any changes.
