bars move back a beat and overlap the last notes of the previous bar
I've had a problem with 'disapearing measures'. Thinking I had fixed everything I discovered that in some cases a following bar moves up a beat and overlaps the last notes of the previous bar. No idea how to fix this.

I guess we need the exact steps you are taking to make this happen. Never heard of this.

I think I fixed it. This happened after a bar mysteriously changed the time signature on me and didn't have enough notes. After much tweaking I got the correct bar with correct time signature but the rest of the score was out of sync. Fixed that only to find that one bar had mysetriously begun on the last beat of a previous bar. Again somehow I fixed it but I have no idea what one of the many things I did worked. It sounds like there was a bug in musescore 3.
