Can't delete
Ended up with a violin section that has two treble clefs. No idea how. An hour trying to delete the part with no success. Best I could do is select the entire part and hit delete and/or ctrl delete. That resulted in deleting everything. Nothing left but a white page. Another hour trying to get down to just one treble clef. Again... no success. Ended up hiding the whole thing, two bass clefs, an instrument with no name for the part etc. etc.
I list two examples below:
Open the Parts dialog (File → Parts…);
Select the relevant Part in the "Parts" pane;
Press Delete. " DOESN'T WORK NOTHING HAPPENS
Remove instruments from a part
To remove instruments from an existing part:
"Select the part in the "Parts" pane.
Select the instrument from the "Instruments in Part" pane.
Press - to remove the instrument. " DOESN'T WORK. CAN'T SELECT FROM BOTH PLACES AT THE SAME TIME. GET A LOT OF BEEPING ETC.
I'm hoping there is a better suggestion. How can it be so hard to simply delete a part from my list of instruments? I don't get it

It seems to me that it is only necessary to wait for the response of the program.

My pc is not very high performing, in the attachment to my previous comment (Bis.mscz) you will notice that I have changed page size and resizing. Then I simply tried using Delete and wait a little bit, then MuseScore deleted the Staff (Ter.mscz).

Perhaps that is the root of the problem. your PC cannot handle the MuseScore program?
