The case of a missing tie and niente audio bug
Hello everyone, I want to raise two possible bugs with my attached score "The Seven Thunders Uttered". It was created in MuseScore 2 (2018), and I just finished engraving it in the latest version of MuseScore 4.
1.) There seems to be an issue with a missing tie, m. 30 (voice 1), that disappears every time I upload it to Musescore.com, and whenever I reopen the project:

2.) An audio bug concerning multiple instruments that decrescendo to a niente symbol, particularly m. 12 going into m. 13: when you play all sounding instruments starting at m. 13, they decrescndo to niente, but start playback at m. 12, and when you get to m. 13 and the niente symbol, there is a sudden dynamic increase. The same is heard and observed with the cellos in m. 11: played back solo and with all sounding instruments, the cellos decresendo to niente, but starting playback at m. 10 and the same issue arises as previously mentioned.
Thank you.

There seem ( to me at least) to be many problems with this score. Possibly stemming from starting in one version and finishing in another. The two are different programs. When something plays one way solo and another way tutti, that's a problem. And can affect what happens later. For me, there are enough dynamic problems with MuseSounds that using niente and no dynamics at the end of a hairpin just add to it. You'll notice that the long hairpin at the beginning works, but cresc. poco a poco later, does not. MuseScore won't play the divisi on the same note ( is one a harmonic? ) one tremolo one not.
Were it me, I might be tempted to start over and re-enter a page or two and see what happens.

Yeah, this is the last time I am going to work from a MS2 file (or MS3) in MS4...I'm just going to start from my template in MS4 and copy the notes over and start from there in the future. Thanks a lot bobjp.
Ok, so when I export the score to PDF the tie is present, and I would just like to say that this is the last time I will be working from a MuseScore 2 file in MuseScore 4, even with sytle settings set to default. I don't expect the support team to even consider the tie issue, I will chalk it up to a natural bug from opening a score from two versions ago...no biggie. To resolve the missing tie on upload, I just used a slur and approximated it the best I could.
But I do hope the audio bug with the niente issue is taken care of! These strings as so incredible!

Nevermind, a slur didn't work either. I give up for now. Atleast I can export it with the tie. Man, I got so close to finishing it and got stopped by a little tiny tie! lol, I love MuseScore. Have a great night support team.
