Text Toolbar in MuseScore4
I cannot access the text toolbar. It does not appear at the bottom of the screen. It is not hidden behind my taskbar (checked) and I am using all default dsettings. This has been the case since I moved to MS4. I did not have this problem with version 3. I can only change font size by exporting, editing and re-importing text - not exactly a neat work around. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

The separate Text toolbar doesn't exist any more in MS4. Its functions should now all be available in the Properties panel (what in earlier MS versions was the Inspector).
For example, you can select a few characters within a word and change their format (italic, bold, font-size) in the Properties panel. In the old Inspector, you could not format specifically in that way - it was an "all or nothing" approach.

Thanks for that. I guessed it had to be somewhere. I didn't even know there was a properties panel - it wasn't showing by default. I probaly should have gone through all the tutorials.

To be clear, the properties panel is visible by default, but it's tabbed alongside the palettes and instruments panels. You can if you wish undock it or dock it elsewhere.
