How to get a track to play when it has been made invisible on the page
I've added percussion as a customized click track. During playback I don't want to see it on the page, but want it to play aloud so I can concentrate on the arrangement of the melody line without the distraction of the extra staff, the bouncing between pages, etc.
This used to work.
thanks

Just read the enormous arguments on Github about this functionality:
The user should be able to unmute hidden instruments:
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/10951
Add setting to choose whether invisible parts should be muted or not:
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/16009
This MS4 regression will be fixed eventually, in some future version.

I'm glad to hear this will be fixed. It's not mission critical unless the user is a serious composer.

Open your attachment, view the Instruments panel and follow these steps:
Percussion should now be unseen in the score but audible.

That makes it happen. I never would have figured it out on my own.
Thank you
