Muse Guitars sounds are bugged. MuseSampler stuck on 0.4.1, cannot update.
I recently updated my MuseScore to version 4.2 (OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.0-233521124, revision: eb8d33c), and upon installing the Muse Guitars library I immediately noticed the playback was bugged. I was looking forward to the new guitar sounds and features, as I'm currently doing a lot of guitar/bass work.
Looking around in the forums, a failed MuseSampler update is suggested as a reason for the playback bug, and updating it is proposed as a solution. I am indeed stuck on Muse Sampler 0.4.1
I have not been able to update MuseSampler in any way. Deleting the application cache from MuseHub, reinstalling MuseHub and MuseScore, or reinstalling MuseScore as standalone (after fresh reboots) did not help. Muse Hub insists that all my applications and sounds are up to date, even when forcing update search.
I haven't found any clear path to updating MuseSampler on its own,
Anything to do? Am I stuck with a borked MuseSampler until the next update, or potentially indefinitely?
Thanks in advance.

I have encountered this same update problem on one of my computers. It seems to me that reinstalling Muse Hub (and loading a new sound bank?) did the trick? But I'm not sure of anything, and as written in the issue above, there's room for improvement as to where to find Muse Sampler and how to update it.

Interesting, thanks. Reinstalling Muse Hub did not do the trick for me.
With "loading a new sound bank" do you mean installing a new pack, such as Muse Strings? I might try that and see if it works!

Thank you. However, no amount of update-spamming or restarting has helped at all thus far.
Guess I'll keep trying...
I am now also getting an "Unable too install Muse Sampler: Muse Hub was unable to find the required configuration to install this application. Please try again." message from Muse Hub.
Followed by "Unable to download MuseSampler. Something went wrong, please try again later. ID: musesampler Type: Application"
Still stuck at 0.4.1 with borked playback.

I was able to fix that problem by uninstalling the whole thing, reinstalling it & boom now I'm at musesampler 0.5.1

'Whole thing', do you mean the MuseScore app as well or just MuseHub?
