Octave jump for entire voice in tablature?

tldr: the only way I can find to change the octave of a given note in tablature is to select the note in a linked standard staff and then use cntrl-up/down, but this does not work when one selects an entire voice.

I know that ctrl-up/down moves selected notes up/down one octave. But in tablature, ctrl-up/down moves the selected notes to the next string (keeping the original pitch).

Since ctrl-up changes octave in standard notation, I thought I'd try linking a standard staff to my tablature. If I use ctrl-up on a note on the standard staff, it does in fact go up the octave, and it brings the linked note on the tablature up with it. Yay.

But I want to do this for all the notes in the voice. So I choose a note in the standard staff, and under the "More..." option of Select > Similar, I select Same Voice. All notes in this voice are highlighted, in both the standard staff and the tablature. But now cntrl-up does not send it up an octave, it sends it to the next string.

So, in a linked standard+tablature setup, cntrl-up changes octave when one note is selected (or several notes selected one at a time), but changes string when a whole voice is selected.

Is there any way to change the octave of an entire voice in tablature?

Works here (version 4.2.1), see:
